Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria and Area
Since 1977, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria (BBBS Victoria) has been helping children in communities from Sooke to Salt Spring Island. Because of this mentoring support, thousands of children and adults can name a person who made a positive and lasting difference in their life.
Our mentoring programs enhance the child's sense of belonging, self-worth, resiliency and capacity to make healthy, well-informed choices. We serve children between the ages 7 and 18 in all communities on Southern Vancouver Island.
We offer several in-school and community-based mentoring programs that target different client and volunteer groups in response to identified social issues and challenges in our community.
